North Korea is lights out!
The Ryugyong Hotel in Pyongyang was estimated to cost 2% of North Korea's GDP to construct.
It's 105 stories tall and incomplete (mostly hollow). Construction halted in 1992 (12 years ago!)because of a lack of funds. It was to have 3000 rooms in a country and city with no tourism. Though it can be seen from every part of Pyongyang, it has been removed from the city's maps, (good one guys, remove it from the map so no one knows what a screw up it was, only problem - its the seventh highest building in the world).
Check out the outer space shot of Korea - communism is lights out!
